Installation was tight but fairly straight forward. Works as it should. Factory mic and rear camera work fine after installation. Adds USB which is nice.

Das Carplay/Android Modul wird neutral verpackt geliefert. Dabei ist alles was man benötigt und auch eine Anleitung, die in Kombination mit dem Installation Video hier, eine Sache ist, die man nicht missen mag. Das ganze dauert schon eine Weile, aber wenn man es geschafft hat, gibt es ein Upgrade was man nicht mehr hergeben mag. Eigentlich auch nur zeitgemäß, was einem die toll Welt der Apps nun alles via Handy von Spotify, Telefonie und Google MapsApps etc. genießen lässt. Das hat zwar auch seinen stolzen Preis mit aktuell knapp 230€, hält aber funktionell was es verspricht und die Leistungsperformance ist einwandfrei, läuft sauber und ohne Störungen.

I ordered this Wireless Car Play/Android Car Modification Module for my BMW NBT system (3/4/5/6/7 Series) for my friend's car, it has been a positive experience with a few caveats. First, the addition of Car Play and Android Auto is a game-changer. It makes driving more convenient, allowing me to access navigation, music, contacts, and messages all hands-free, which has greatly improved the overall driving experience. The voice assistant integration also makes it easy to perform tasks without taking my eyes off the road, making driving safer.One of the best features is that it retains all the original BMW functions. The control unit software wasn’t modified, which means the OEM features, like the rear camera and parking radar, still work perfectly. I also like that it supports both aftermarket and original rear view and 360-degree cameras, which adds versatility depending on your setup. The module blends seamlessly with the existing system, so it doesn’t feel like an add-on, but rather like it’s a part of the car’s original configuration.However, Installation, while possible on your own, wasn’t as straightforward as I had hoped. It requires some technical know-how, and I had to spend more time on it than expected. I eventually had to get help from a professional to ensure everything was working properly.Another issue is the occasional lag, particularly when switching between apps or accessing certain features through Car Play or Android Auto. While it’s not frequent, it does disrupt the flow sometimes, especially when I’m trying to switch apps quickly while driving. This could be an area for improvement.Lastly, the module is quite expensive for what it offers. While the functionality is great, the price feels a bit high, especially considering the installation effort required. Despite these drawbacks, it’s still a valuable addition to my friend's BMW, offering modern convenience and safety features that make driving much more enjoyable.

Bei mir wurde das AUTOABC Kit in einen BMW F11 verbaut.Man sollte schon etwas Spaß an der Technik haben und sich nicht scheuen das einiges am Auto auseinander genommen werden muss.Wenn man es aber vollbracht hat, ist das Set super und funktioniert sehr gut!Ich war ehrlicherweise überrascht das es am Ende so einfach ging.Einziger Kritikpunkt und hier muss ich wirklich sagen, verstehe ich den Händler nicht, ist die Spracheingabe. Diese funktionierte bei mir nicht und somit habe ich den Hersteller kontaktiert.Aussage am Ende war, das die Bluetooth Version des Smartphones von mir zu neu sei und das verbaute Bluetooth Modell in dem Modul zu alt. Das am Ende also an so einer Kleinigkeit gespart wurde, ist für mich unverständlich.Alles in allem aber eine dennoch sehr positive Bereicherung im Auto, weshalb ich das Modul empfehlen kann!

Right out of the box, the quality of the module was evident. The build feels robust, and there were no defects visible. It’s clear that AUTOABC prioritizes quality in their manufacturing process, as every component worked as intended. I appreciate the attention to detail, from the connectors to the software interface.
