This is a Mitsubishi FX clone. In order to program and use it you need to know:1. How to find, download and install the (correct) Mitsubishi programming software.2. Know how to program and troubleshoot in ladder logic. If you have never done this type of programming, it is a steep learning curve.3. Know how to configure the needed settings on your computer to get the PLC and computer to communicate via RS232 or a USB to serial converter (This is probably the hardest/most frustrating part to get correct). At a minimum you will be dealing with manual driver installation/changes and port settings as well as comm cable wiring.None of this is plug and play, even if you are competent on all of the above there will still be a learning curve if you don't do this regularly.If you are not well versed in any of the above, you will be frustrated and likely FAIL to get this to work. This is not the fault of the hardware. I can assure you that it works as intended when set up correctly .There is plenty of information available on-line including manuals and discussion groups on these clones and the Mitsubishi software.Bottom line; If you know what you are doing or are willing to dig in and learn how, this is a great low cost PLC. If you want something to just plug in and work then PLC's in general are probably not for you.

This is a bare board with NO documentation. I was able to get a couple rungs of ladder working, but there is no documentation that describes register ranges (e.g. timers, counters, etc). Multiple emails back and forth with the seller yielded a lot of words and random information, but no actual documentation. They keep sending pictures that are already posted here, and some general PLC programming guidance. I'm giving up and returning this. At this point, I'll gladly pay about twice the price to get a used name brand model that I can find documentation online.
