these are very bright and powerful lasers. I added 2 of these to my CNC spindle to create an + target on the table centered under my spindle. This allow me to locate where to set my Z zero plate. I have one running along the X axis and the other on the Y axis. The mounting plates provided allows me to fabricate brackets attached to the spindle bracket so I can easily aim the lasers to create a perfect + at the center of the spindle. The units are powered by 5v dc so I was able to bypass the included 120v power supplies and wire directly to my cnc control power.

I recently picked up the 650nm Red Line Laser Module and it's pretty impressive! This laser module is super bright and makes a very clear red line, which is perfect for my DIY projects. It was easy to install and start using right away.The build quality seems solid, and it's small enough to fit into tight spaces. The only thing is, it gets a bit warm if you use it for a long time, but not too hot to handle. Overall, it's a great tool for precise alignment and measurements!

If you want to project a laser that is not a straight cross line or a group of spots...this is not for you
