These are an exact replacement in size and torx size for the brake carrier screws on a BMW motorcycle. The cost for the package was a fraction of the cost of screws from BMW.

These are standard black oxide screws that are true to the promised size. M10-1.5 is a big ol' screw - this thing could hold up an office chair or furniture leg. It's the kind of thing you'd purchase to replace a lost screw (although I don't know how you'd lose a screw this big!) or to fabricate your own large items. These come in a nice little flat, shallow box, with an inner plastic bag.Note that, like all black oxide screws, these are coated in a bit of oil that makes them a little unpleasantly slimy to work with. I do prefer stainless steel screws, in general, but there's something about the black oxide look that is attractive against woods, I think. Just be prepared to wash your hands after using these.

Factory bumper screws on a 2020 Can Am Commander are M8-1.25 x 30mm with a T40 pan head that is ~17.4mm in diameter. It looks like they use Grade 8 steel as well. When I went to change out my winch rope, I discovered that one of my bolts had apparently been stripped somewhere along the way. These machine screws match except they are grade 10.9 (harder) and the head is a slightly smaller ~13.5mm in diameter. I used this screw and an M6 x 20mm stainless washer to replace the factory bolt. Worked perfectly.I especially like that these are T40 and thus match all the other factory screws. (Many potential replacements are allen key, and I dislike having to switch bits when removing a set of similar screws.)
