I think it is very well made. The instructions weren't great, so that may be difficult for an amateur. Good quality.

I have had other manufacturers versions of the ball and tube, some that lock and some that don't. The Magic Makers version is the worst of all. Stay away from Magic Makers, they are just a rip off.

Poor. The cylinder is not round and the insert is difficult/impossible to manipulate.

For the excellent price, this is a well-made little magic trick. It didn't take long to learn how to present the effect to people, and the reactions i've gotten have been great.

My daughter is 13 and loves learning new magic tricks. This was a great trick for her before it messed up. She used it about a dozen times and suddenly it locked up. She was performing at her school and she couldn't get it to turn and neither can I. It was a gift so by the time she got to use it the time to return it was over. $20 magically gone.
