Nicely packaged, easy to install and has a small footprint. Has advance features that allow you to pause the top off. Nice appearance and ruggedly built.

An essential add to any aquarist's arsenal. With a reservoir of treated water, this keeps your tank in perfect condition for times of well tuned automation or vacations away, so your keepers have only to show up and feed. My only regret is taking so long to install it.

These are great for tanks around 100 gallons, and particularly for reef tanks which don't tolerate changes in salinity or temperature well. This lets you fill a reservoir (likely a bucket) and store it near the tank and it will add small amount of water over time instead of adding larger amount of water 2x a week or whatever. It just makes keeping the tank easier.This one works like most. This one might have a bit higher quality pump than some others priced under $40 but I can't tell for sure. The feature to pause is nice but I haven't found it much more convenient than what I used to do: switch off the power to the ATO when doing water changes. This one is currently priced at $60, which I don't think is worth the minor improvements over the many options priced at $40. Perhaps the price will come down. Perhaps you know the pause button will work really well for you. It is a good unit, but a bit overpriced.
