More Work, Less Vibration
The JR3070CT/Z is equipped with AVT, Makita’s exclusive counterbalance system that reduces vibration for more efficient cutting power. The JR3070CT/Z has a durable body design that keeps dust and debris away from the motor, with rubber and felt seals to keep dust and water out for a longer tool life. The JR3070CT/Z weighs just 10.0 pounds, with 'tool-less' blade change and five-position shoe adjustment.

15 AMP Power with Clutch Assembly to Protect Gears
The JR3070CT/Z with AVT is powered by a 15 AMP motor with electronic speed control to maintain constant speed under load. The JR3070CT/Z has a long 1-1/4 inch stroke for faster cutting with 0-2,800 strokes per minute (SPM) and a variable speed dial with six different preset speeds to match the speed of the saw to the application. The unique clutch system extends the tool life by protecting the gears should the blade bind. It also has orbital action with 4 settings to choose from for high speed cutting.
Warranty
Every Makita tool is thoroughly inspected and tested before leaving the factory. If you are not satisfied with any Makita tool within 30 days of purchase, return it and Makita will provide, at Makita's option, a replacement or refund. Each Makita tool is warranted to be free of defects from workmanship and materials for the period of One Year from the date of original purchase. Should any trouble develop during the one-year period, return the Complete tool, freight prepaid, to one of Makita’s Factory or Authorized Service Centers.
If inspection shows the trouble is caused by defective workmanship or material, Makita will repair (or at our option, replace) without charge. This warranty does not apply to Makita Accessories.
This warranty does not apply where:
Repairs have been made or attempted by others
Repairs are required because of normal wear and tear
The tool has been abused, misused or improperly maintained
Alterations have been made to the tool

Me gusto solo la primera compra duró un año y de ahí en adelante mis siguientes compras máximo 3 meses todo quedó prácticamente nuevo por fuera por dentro se quiebran fácilmente las piezas de acero

moteur puissant;pas de vibrations (système AVT)--->silencieuse;poids raisonnable,changement de lame sans outil,sabot avant réglable pour augmenter la durée de vie de la lame,fil d'alimentation long....etcalors si vous aimez travailler efficacement avec du bon matériel:pas d'hésitation , cette machine est parfaite .

This thing is a brute compared to most but is made for the extreme tough jobs all day long. Its strong, fast, very smooth, and easy to control because of the anti vibration counter balancing. I needed a bigger saw for demo / reno of 100+ year homes and barns which typically have large timber frames and iron nail and spikes. Not a place for a consumer grade big box saw ;) This thing will zip through an 8x8 in no time especially using it in orbital mode and a good blade. If you do get it jammed up the clutch prevents it for taking out the gears inside.This is a beast made for the big jobs. Probably a bit large and heavy for the home gamer but that's what cordless ones are good at.If you want a serious saw that will last, this is it.

This is a great quality tool, and in my opinion it is worth the money to get the "Anti Vibration Technology". I have used other cheaper tools, and other Makita models, and the amount of vibration is always an issue and limits the amount of work you can do. The difference with this model is very noticeable, and the vibration really doesn't feel significant.It is robust (heavy), but reciprocating saws are. The speed of changing the blades and control on the trigger are great, as is the overall build quality.The only negative is the ease with which the trigger locks on, especially with gloves. It's a problem I have noticed with a few Makita tools but it is not a big issue.
