I have an older ag sprayer that had a rotting draw hose from the tank to the small pump. I was matching the existing hose, but none of the farm stores or hardware stores sold that kind of hosing by the foot. I found this shorter hose segment on here and it works great. I still had to cut it down and paid more per foot than a 50' length I found at the store, but I just didn't need that much hosing.

It is what Amazon says it is. Good thick durable hose which is important seeing as I live in AZ, it’s 120 degrees outside literally right now, & it must also withstand all the heat under the hood that a Corvette motor generates on top of that. Needless to say, anything rubber has a short lifespan here but so far so good. No leaks, tears, or holes. And now I prob jinxed myself which is why I bought extra just in case

I had a hose rupture in my car, so I checked the diameter and got a coil of this hose, cut a length off, got some hose clamps, and replaced. They've held strong for over 2 years. Glad to buy a USA made product and see it has held up well.

I am not sure why these are sold as "heater hose," as I have never seen a heater core with smaller than 5/8" hose. However, this is a cost-effective solution for the bleed lines used on the HMMWV from the radiator to surge tank, and from the crossover tube to the surge tank. There is always the option of purchasing silicone hose for this use, and HMMWV vendors do offer these hoses. However, the original hose was not silicone, and this is a cheaper and more authentic replacement hose.
