It's a bit complex to get set up, at least for me. I was thinking free-standing peg board and while it is (kind of) it took far too much thought and being vexed/frustrated! Maybe it's me - I was in a hurry and thought "ok, I'm going to organize this part of my desk" and it turned into more of a fiasco than it should have.Just look at it carefully and at the reviews also. It could be that this is the perfect item for you! It's sturdy for sure.

I love this thing. It's easy to assemble and you can use as little or as much of it as you need to mount your peripherals or other doodads. The clamp is solid and the assembled unit easily holds my stuff without breaking a sweat. It's even expandable!Highly recommend

I have too much stuff.Ok, now that we've gotten that out of the way, let's talk about how this gem has managed to help me organize at least some of my stuff. The good: Though plastic, it is very sturdy. While I can't say it will hold a small child, I can say that it is overbuilt for what it is. And that's a great thing. This also comes with a nice swath of accessories to tame cables, 2 pairs of headphones, and a couple controllers, while also giving you a great bevy of choices to mount not only the panels, but also the various hangers. I use the over-the-top headphone hanger to hang a hat on, my headphones go in front on the other one, then I have a PS4 controller and my blue-light glasses in their case on the two controller hangers, and then I have a few cables hanging onto the sides. And the peg holes are not only all over the front, but on the sides, top, and bottom as well. This is a great segway into:The bad: The holes in the pegboard's front and the sides/top/bottom are *not* the same. And not every accessory works in both the sides and front. This is fine for something like the controller hanger and the front-mount headphone hanger. But there is no reason to limit the use of so many of the wire clips to *only* be used on the sides. Additionally, these are not your standard round pegboard holes, so forget going down to your local hardware store to pick up additional mounts. You will either need to see if you can some from the manufacturer (which I had no luck doing) or invest in a 3D printer and start making your own. That said: Given the price of this unit especially when compared to so many of the market alternatives, I cannot knock any stars off. Is it PERFECT? No. But I feel that it overcomes its shortcomings in the VALUE of this product. My desk is marginally less cluttered, and the important bits are a lot easier to put back where they belong and retrieve them from their home now.

Putting it together was easy and to mount to a desk. There also was plenty of room to display multiple items because you have the freedom to make the adjustments that you need to make everything fit on the board.

The product listing doesn't really capture how well designed this thing is. For one thing it is extensible so if you have more panels of the same type they will work together and can extend easily. For another, the peg mount holders that this board comes with are much better than the peg board hangers I already had, such that I used the ones that came with this board almost exclusively even though I did verify this board fits standard peg board hooks including 3D printed ones. Finally, I must complement the "desk-clamp" mount here - it's much better than the desk clamps that came with my screen mounts, light, and magnifier - it clamps more solidly and easily and is more easily moved. Right now I have this on my computer desk but I'm thinking of moving it to my soldering station to be a sort of "project board" for parts for current projects, or maybe I'll buy a second one. Really pleased with how this turned out.
