I wanted a blanket for my Arabian that would fit him better on the withers than the one he had. We were expecting windchills, snow, ice in the negative degrees for several days on short notice and I knew I wanted him to be as comfortable as possible. This was the only blanket that was available to get to my house BEFORE the weather would hit. Plus it was affordable!I took a chance and ordered a 72 which is his normal size and I was very happy I did!I got an extra set of the straps with it and a carry case.It fit him very well on the withers and everywhere else. Yes the fit is a little loppy on the sides at the barrel and tail but I was just concerned that it would be long enough and not pinch his withers for 5 days of continuous wear. It decently covered his tail and barrel, chest area to my pleasing.The belly closures are on the right side but that really doesn't matter to me because they never came undone with all the laying down he did. For the price I paid for this I was very happy! The neck cover didn't bother him at all and he would be the horse to be bothered with one. He was always able to eat and drink from the ground with it on as I don't have stalls, he spent the whole time outside with this blanket and a second one on top on the coldest days. I added a second one that already fit him but not warm enough by itself. With both blankets every time I checked under them with my hand he was nice and warm! Winner!The leg straps never came undone either. Moisture and snow that fell on this blanket before I added the second layer never made him wet underneath. He was always dry.All in all I recommend this blanket for the price and how fast it got here I'll be forever thankful, we haven't had this cold of weather since 2021. Thank you so much!
