This is a great set to put your meat in cryo sleep. I like to wrap my meat in plastic wrap first to keep the bags from getting dirty and stained. The seals them really tight for a great price and I love all the bag sizes.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of these bags. They are great for wet as well as dry items. I like the vacuum feature as it helps preserve food longer. The vacuum pump that is included works well. It may take a few pumps to get started but it has yet to fail. I hand wash in soapy water and do not notice any stains or odors so far. I have stored a variety of foods including avocados ( cut and lasted two weeks without browning!) spicy taco meat (bag cleaned just fine, no lingering grease or odor) crackers remained fresh and berries lasted twice as long. I have used them in the freezer with no problems. Highly recommend

I use these to store my salad food in and yes it last so much longer than it used to. This salad is going to be eaten tonight but it is starting week 3 of me using it. I buy the large bags at Sam's I bought 2 of them I have used one totally up and this is what is left of the 2nd bag.I can now buy 2 large bags of salad so I don't have to go to store as offen. I told my sister about this item and she ordered her own set.I will definitely order these at gin when needed.

I came across this one day when I was on the search for a food vacuum sealer. I had no idea a manual pump was an option, so I scratched the plan for the throw away plastic and the battery and plug options and opted for the manual pump and bags. LOVE that it doesn't need a charge, or batteries or a plug and the fact that the bags are washable and reusable. While that can be a hinderance, it's not enough for me and they have worked out so well for me, that I had to buy another box of more bags.
