After a long period of non-use, I had issues trying to add the device to Inkbird app. I emailed the company providing purchase history as well as videos on steps to try to connect the device to the app. After reviewing the details, they promptly issued a replacement device to me. Kudos for their aftersales customer service.

Me encantaron, de muy buena calidad. 💖Se siente cómoda la suela es acojinada, solo recomiendo proteger talones de la parte de atrás, ya que si caminas mucho puede lastimarse.

Perhaps I should have guessed I would have problems with this, when I took it out of the box to switch it on, to find the battery was completely dead. Most (if not all) rechargeable devices usually have some residual charge from new.Once fully charged (even overnight), the battery only lasts an hour, at most.If I take it out of the drawer to use, it’s completely dead, even if I charged it an hour or two earlier.The only way I could use it over the Christmas and New Year period (the reason it was bought for), was to keep it plugged in to the wall socket at all times, which kind of defeats the purpose of a handy, wireless, rechargeable kitchen thermometer.I would have returned it, but because I bought it quite a few months before I found out its failings, I can’t return it.I’ve checked the other reviews and only a couple of people have mentioned the same battery issue, so perhaps there are only a few rotten eggs like mine. However, I would urge anyone buying this, to please check its battery life as soon as you receive it, so you can return it, if you received a dud like mine.

I recently picked up the INKBIRD Hybrid Thermometer, and it's been a fantastic addition to my kitchen! It really fills both roles without any compromise, which is nice in my small kitchen.The rechargable feature is nice, and I discovered that you can use it plugged in to a charger or battery bank, so you really never have to worry about batteries at all, and with a battery bank, you can extend the function indefinitely while camping or on a long outdoor cook.I was happy to discover that I could access all functions without bluetooth, although the bluetooth access is nice if you want a more convenient interface.The magnetic mount option is nice, and the fold-out probe is great for protecting things from the pointy end as well as satisfying to see it automatically turn on when you fold out the probe.I was more impressed than I expected to be with something as simple as a thermometer, and at 20 bucks, I just may buy a couple for gifts.

Over the years I've tried many different remote thermometers and temperature probes. But I've never seen them in one package until I tried this product. The package arrived quickly -- I placed the order on Friday evening and by 4:15 am the next day it was on my porch, just in time for an Easter ham. Just a quick charge with the included charger and a download of the app and everything was ready to go. Truly a simple setup. I put a probe in the ham and started my cook. The range was much better than expected, with the app reading temperature without any issues 50 feet away through several walls in my house and my steel smoker. As the ham approached the final temparture (the app suggested the same final IT that I was shooting for without having to make any adjustments), I put the probe in several parts of the ham, realizing that the original placement was through a thinner portion of the meat. The probe was quicker than expected, providing a nearly instant read of the temperature. I relocated the probe and finished my cook with ease. Overall, a great product, simple to use, and will likely replace my remote thermometer and instant probe. And hopefully declutter my drawer full of probes and thermometers.

Item unable to connect to Bluetooth.I gave it 2 stars because it makes for a nice thermometer, but other than that the item doesn't do what it is supposed to. Inkbird's helpdesk is not offering any solution.All in all, if you are looking for a thermometer, you are probably better off buying something else.
