These pins are very strong. I used them to replace pins on a cheap tool which broke. These are much much stronger.

I service outboards all the time particularly the trim systems this tool is the best one I have seen for the job

Pins are easy to replace in Marine tech tools - Marine Pin wrench AMT0004 38mmx4mm. Good handy product for boat owners. Three pins are used in Marine Pin wrench to remove tilt trim cylinder end caps and hydraulic steering end caps.

Was very surprised with how tight the trim caps on the boat were. Seals have been changed every 3 years by dealer and decided to do it myself to save some money. So glade I read up on job and took advise of all people and broke down and bought tool up front. Honestly don't this I could have done job without it. Well, at least without destroying the caps which would have cost me about 50 dollars each. Very easy job with tool and a breaker bar. Thanks Marine Tech!
