Although the master locks can easily be opened with a pick , the hasp alone are worth the price!Very nice finish, and seems to be almost powder coating on them.

While I generally believe this is a fantastic product and would choose it again I am the one in a million that has an oddly pinned lock that makes my key super flimsy. I mean the longest pin is at the head of the key leaving it oddly thin and super weak. Now I am going to have to buy two new locks when I break the last two keys off. Seems like master lock just missed the opportunity for better quality control on how they pin their locks with this one.

This is the unit you see on all manner of work trucks. You'll need carriage bolts, washers and fiber-lock nuts to install it. Very heavy duty, it's the real deal.

I like the locks I feel safer with these on my tool truck. Only issue is no mounting bolts come with it, the hardware was close to $40 at home depot. I understand they don't know what size I will need for my application and it keeps the item cost down but I didn't know there was no carriage bolts with the purchase.

These are harder to install than is implied.take a thin piece of cardboard ad place it between the two hasp sections, then wire ties the two sides together.Now place on your doors and tape in place, be sure to level them to tops so it will be straight/ level.Now from the inside check the placement to be sure the bolts will clear. this was hard on my van as the electric door locking and unlocking servo was in the way.Note this is a good time to add an alarm door switch while you are at it.Now as in the instructions mark and center punch the 6 holes you will be drilling, remove the hasp, and drill.good luck and remember to use self-locking huts.
