This break-bar is made with extra durable steel. The 'male' end, that goes into a socket, rotates 180 degrees. The flexible angle adjustment feature aids one when fitting the 22m sized socket to (in this case) the emission sensors. The break-bar was purchased to increase my pulling leverage when trying to remove stuck (frozen, as it were) emission sensors from my vehicle's exhaust system. Having this roughly two-foot-long break-bar saved me from having to pay dealership's $200 dollar per-hour labour fee to remove (and reinstall) the sensors (once the have been 'cleaned'). The secret herein is you need to remove, 'clean,' and reinstall the sensors every 30-50K miles later. That is, the cost of buying the break-bar far outways the dealership's (if they are willing to clean the sensors for you) labour fees.As an aside, you will need special, specific emission sensor-fitting sockets - to remove and reinstall sensors, but that is another story.
