This unit comes complete, it was very easy to install and it works well. It moves a lot of air and is nice and quiet.

So far this Maxxair Fan 7500K is one of the best investments that I have made for my fifth wheelEasy installation Runs very smooth and quite and keeps the rv temperature down at least by 10 degrees coolerRight now it’s 84 outside inside 75FExcellent I probably will be buying a second for the bedroom as the air conditioner distribution isn’t very good I just have to figure out and cut a hole in the roof But so far the way the fan is working is excellent hope it stays that way

Very nice unit, a great upgrade to the factory vent fan in the kitchen area of our RV. The four fan speeds are enough for our needs, we didn't need 10 speeds or a remote control. The lowest two speeds are pretty quiet, it's only speeds 3 and 4 where the fan noise is noticeable. It really pulls air out, much better than the tiny little factory fan. Love the fact that you can keep this open in the rain without water entering.The hardest part of installation is carefully removing the caulking from the old vent, being careful not to tear or puncture the roof membrane. After that it's pretty basic to wire this up to the existing 12-volt wires, then apply butyl tape along the flange and screw it in place (do a test fit first, however). Apply the self-leveling Dicor liberally over the flange edge and screws afterwards. If your roof has a pronounced arc, you may notice that it's a little difficult to insert the four mounting screws that hold the fan to the mounting flange, and it takes a bit of effort to get them in place.

I had a different brand, without a remote before. Hardly used it.The fact that I can turn fan on/off without getting in the back & having to wind it up & doing the same to turn it off.Its quieter, looks better & works great.The remote has a couple of times not wanted to work, like signals on, but no action.Turn remote on & off a couple times & it worked.But its great & thats better than the odd hiccup
