I was looking for a black patton pair of Birkenstock’s. I was so excited to find because of the support and comfort of these shoes. Was nice to find at a discounted rate!Have not worn much. Around the house. Will wear more as the weather warms up.

So many people are afraid to try the toe strap for fear of it hurting their toes. I bought the man-made material instead of the leather and I find it so soft! Not a single issue with my toes, no rubbing or irritation. I think it is because you can adjust the toe strap! Brilliant idea. I love them and between this and my other pair, I never take my Birks off. I normally buy leather upper but thought I would try the man-made material and I adore them as much as the leather.

足の親指が少し曲がって、靴をはくと親指の付け根が靴とぶつかって痛い状態でした。段々痛みが強くなり親指の腹に力が入りませんでした。このサンダルは、親指を固定してくれて足の裏にフィットしているので、とても歩きやすいです。足の裏全体で大地をつかんで歩いている感じです。以前は、親指が痛いせいで小指側の側面を地面につけて歩くようなガニマタ歩きをしていましたが、今はまっすぐ歩いています。足が生き返った感じです。転びそうな不安もなくなりました。難点は見かけが若者向きということかしら。
