I thought it was kind of gimmicky looking, but it actually works for long flights, train, or bus trips. Smells like plastic when you get it, so let it air out before use

I took out of package to off gas it did have a plastic smell. Other than that I recommend this product

Great concept but didn’t use - too hard to use in a cramped economy seat.

I wanted to like this air pillow - I really did. But there are just too many negatives. First, the good:1. It inflates very quickly, in less than 30 seconds, although it is awkward to do.2. It maintains its inflation for a long time - still fully inflated 72 hours after it was first inflated.3. The material on the pillow is soft on your face (except for the holes where your face goes).Now the bad:1. It is really awkward to inflate. Rather than a straw-like tube, you blow through a 1-1/2 in hole. And there is a second membrane inside the inflation hole that you can pull open to rapidly deflate the pillow. It took 3 or 4 tries to discover that you can blow through that membrane without it being open - otherwise it's impossible to close the outside cap without all of the air escaping. Really silly design, and of course there are no instructions.2. Although the pillow material is soft, the holes where you have the option to put face into the pillow have rough edges. not very comfortable.3. It has a chemical smell right out of the bag, although the smell does dissipate a lot after about 48 hours (but s slightly there).4. The biggest drawback is this pillow doesn't work well for shorter people. I ordered this for my mother to use on 4-hour flights to the west coast. She is 5'1" and couldn't find a comfortable position. If the pillow is upright, the face hole is not in the right spot. If the pillow is on its side, the other hole is too close to her body. She tried every position and decided it just wasn't comfortable for her on an airplane. It's also a little bulky for airplane seats. Too bad, because it seems like nice material.This product may work for others, but it doesn't suit our purpose.

I really like the concept of this pillow, but I find it unusable due to the way the arm holes have sharp edges that cut into my arms while using it.It inflated easily and the air valve works well and doesn't lose any air between breaths so it inflates quickly.
