I got these so I could update my chicken coop and I am returning them! They do not work. Unless a chicken is able to figure out how to push the yellow toggle up into the cup then they will go thirsty. You would think that by just moving the yellow toggle side to side or in any direction, that water would come out. WRONG! Not only that, they are made out of plastic and if you tighten them just a tad too much they don't work anymore. But they leak if they aren't tightened enough. Just overall a terrible product. Please don't waste your time like I did. Look elsewhere!

Las palomitas (con las que aprietas la copa al tubo) se llega a romper muy fácil ya que son de plástico, trone varias en la instalación

Add buckets, I put five cups per bucket ( 5 gallon) . With 20-25 meat chickens per bucket I would get 24 plus hours usually plus before having to refill. Excellent for a busy life style. Easy to install and clean.

I have used these before in a watering system that covers around 20 pens and operates with about 3 ft of head pressure. These work perfectly. I am not how sure I am that they would work on a pail waterer with less than 1 foot of head however in the system I have they work very well and while there is some attrition every year, out of the twenty I typically need to replace 1 or 2, which is reasonable. Update - I have been using this batch for 2 years now with excellent results. It does seems that 2 - 3 ft of head is needed for good results.
