The wooden box is big and I can add other musical toys into it. The only reason I did 4 stars instead of 5 is because I wish the xylophone made a louder sound, it barely makes noise (some parents might enjoy this feature 😂😂) otherwise it’s a great buy.

This kids’ instrument band set is equal parts fun and noise—a true test of parental endurance! My kids love it, and the sheer joy on their faces as they create their “masterpieces” (aka banging and shaking everything) makes it worth the chaos. The instruments are sturdy, colorful, and surprisingly decent quality. Bonus: It’s a great way to find out which kid has rhythm and which one… does not. Earplugs not included, but you might want to grab some! Highly recommend if you’re ready for a mini rock band in your living room.

The mom was able to hold back one or two instruments for later, making this gift for a small toddler last a little longer. Melissa and Doug toys are always high quality learning toys. I buy them whenever appropriate.

I’m a huge Melissa and Doug fan, all of their products are always so well made and for a great price. This product is no exception. All of the instruments play well, and these will definitely last us a long time! I also always appreciate the wooden crates the products come with, I use them on our shelves to keep everything organized! 100% would buy again.
