Ordered a medium, what arrived would maybe fit somebody who wears an XS. It is so tiny that I didn’t even attempt to put it on

Amazon suggested size large, ordered xl because I'm a bit bottom heavy and have wider hips. I am 5'4, about 165, and wear between a 10 and 14 depending on brand (12 in American eagle jeans for reference). The top was perfect (I'm a 34DD), but the bottoms made me look like a can of exploded biscuit dough. :(Luckily I can sew, so rather than send it back, I got a couple of those removable bra straps (you could also use those removable swim top halter ties). I'm going to add in about 4 inches on each side and see if that helps. Here's hoping this sewing experiment can save these too tiny bottoms! The XL fits about how I would expect a medium or 6-8 to fit for reference.

Just a tiny bit too small on the bottom, which I did fear... so sad because if it wasn't cutting off this much it would have been super flattering and pretty. Top fit okay despite my heavier chest.

Contemplating keeping it anyway just because I love the design so much but....I bought the top one (large) and immediately the jewel wasnt attached right out of the bag. Ok, whatever, I didn't like the jewel that much anyway.Tried it on (with underwear on under it!) and it was a *little* too tight. Too much muffin top to be 100% Ok, I'll just get the next size up right? (XL) It was clearly defective anyway since the jewel wasn't attached.Nope. Tried that one on (again , with underwear thank you, y'all nasty if you try them on without) and it WAS TIGHTER THAN THE FIRST ONE !!!!!!!I'm like, wtf did I gain so much weight in 3 days??? Nope, compared the two and they're EXACTLY THE SAME SIZE even though they're labeled differently (see video, please excuse my burned wrist from where my new wood stove bit me).I really liked this design too. Arrrgh.
