I purchase this set for better winter warmth as I know that wool keeps you warmer than cotton, silk or rayon and it did not disappoint!The wool is very fine and soft with no scratchiness, the size is generous and it does not create bulk under my winter clothes.Very nicely presented and the price was quite reasonable too!Would highly recommend!

I am finally warm. Over the years I have struggled to stay warm outdoors in the winter but now I wear these as a base layer and am able to stay out much longer before the cold creeps in. They are very soft, comfortable, and sizing is correct. I just hope they wash and wear well without falling apart. I had washed them initially, wore them 6 times hunting, and washed again (exactly as directed). So far I'm very pleased.

I live in this set! It is soooo comfortable! The fit is amazing, I went with the size chart, I'm normally a 2xl, but the xl is so perfect in this. It loosens up a bit after wearing, but not excessively. It's thick enough to wear alone, doesn't show undergarments. Great for putting under other clothes for extra warmth. It's not itchy at all. Wool is incredible for clothing, and this set is perfection!

You're reading the product page correctly... this is a legit Merino wool base layer at a the price of basic thermals in a big box store.I ordered the black set 250 at the same time I ordered the matching charcoal marle 250 top.If you know and appreciate merino, you know that it should last forever. A full inspection doesn't reveal to me any reason why this set should be any different.The fit is true and the construction is solid. The product page says it is machine washable, but I treasure my merino layers and will continue to hand wash and flat dry.Have I given this a warmth test yet? Nope, the coldest we've gotten so far this year is high-20s (F) on a few mornings and merino layer would be a bit of overkill for that. However, if you see me at Lambeau Field this winter, you can bet this will be my base layer.
