The stitch saving cords works great - you just have to be a little selective as to when to use it. It doest work well for smaller stitches because it will drag and potential pop off. I use it primarily with a size US 6 and above. I also clean then fairly often with water. The stitch stoppers also work great - but on smaller needles only. I also clip them to the end of the stich saver cords to prevent losing stitches. I think this would make a great gift - I know I would love to receive it!

Pretty good quality. I just have some issues with it. One i thought that each container have of the silicon cords one for each sleeve but they didn't. I ended cutting them in half. Another things is it's very hard to transfer from the silicon cords back onto needles because the cords stick to the yarn.

I've decided I'm not a fan. I mainly use acrylic or cotton yarn and these stick to the yarn to much and make it impossible to pull off the needles with dropping stitches. Maybe if you use worsted or above very slippery yarn these might work for you, but they didn't work for me. I did like the stoppers though and use those on my needles when storing WIPS on the go.

I knit garments all the time, and the kitchener stitch is one of my most-used stitches for joining parts of a garment together seamlessly, and these two stitch holders are long enough, smooth enough and sturdy enough to make that task easy! I just thread the raw stitches on one of these, use the stoppers to keep the stitches from coming off again, and then I can continue knitting the rest of the garment until it's time to come back and join the two pieces together.these don't add any bulk or weight to the piece, and I don't have to buy extra circs or use waste yarn or anything else. These literally take all the extra effort and headache out of the process. I don't know why I didn't discover these sooner, but I can't live without them now!

These cords were difficult to get stitches on and off. They were very grippy and sticky. When trying to get the stitches off the cord broke. Useless. I hope other barber cords are better than these.
