I returned it since it would not change the frequency with the up down buttons on my radio

The buttons are flimsy and get stuck within the plastic. The function buttons don’t work. It’s impossible to reprogram the radio and button functions if you can’t put it in menu mode.

I ordered this for my Yaesu radio as the original cord was starting to fray & crack. You can only put electrical tape on there so many times! Plugged this in & it works perfectly. Everything lights up as it should & I can talk & hear freely. Would recommend.

Sadly my OEM Mic deteriorated. The black plastic in one inch section just randomly fell apart. No problems other than that. This one looks exactly the same and cost about the same as what I would pay for a replacement cable. This has a nice microphone part and for me is indistinguishable from the OEM Microphone. So if you want to replace the whole thing rather than just the cord this is the perfect, cost effective replacement.
