I initially liked this mic but after a few months of use only on Sunday mornings it started making loud pops in the PA system. It was quickly retired. For the few months it worked right it was good but I guess you get what you pay for

Very muffled sound, you get what you pay for. Cannot compete with the quality of a $200+ mic

I bought this mainly as an experiment. It was to be something I could use cheaply with my Line6 headset transmitter that would better reject feedback for speech and announcements and to see if using a headset mic worked well for me before I made a big investment. It would be good enough for speech, and it exceeded my expectations. It is reasonably good for use for use by lead vocalists, as well, at least on preliminary tests. I can confidently say that it holds its own against similar products from the big names that cost five times as much. Longevity? Who knows, but at the current price, buying a few spares is not a big burden.
