Designed to carve sign letters. I recommend shallow passes. It took a beating and came out great. Very sharp and well made. Very clean cuts minimal tear out.

Bought this bit to replace the bit that came with the Milescraft Inlay kit. The bit was good quality and though the original still works well, it won't be long for a sharp bit to take its place. I have done more work with it engraving than inlay work and it works well for both.
