I would not call this a no crow collar, I’d call it a reduced volume of crowing. He crows just as much as before but he sounds about as loud as one of my hens when she lays an egg. However effectively the product is not wide enough it should be about 2.5 in width after experimenting with placement and sizing I ended up using 2 one superior to the other. He still acts just like he should other than having a rooster tantrum when they were put on. I personally kept him with me every time I did adjustment to make sure he was ok. The first one he acted funny kept putting his head down similar to when you put a harness on a cat the first time. He laid he head down like it was so heavy but after 10 min he perked up and acted like himself and nailed 5 hens when he went out.

After a few days the collars were adjusted a little smaller and I would listen to the sound of the crow eventually I got them down to a ER chortle about %85 reduction . The Dark Brahmas are still babies and will mature at 18 months so I will monitor the fit regularly . still way better than %100 . Do not chock your rooster right off the bat take some time and things will work out ... Big ED

They just aren't wide enough and they cannot restrain the crowing posture in any meaningful way, look for WIDER bands with better clasps, these are just cheap and nasty velcro strips.

Unfortunately these did not work and you can still hear him crowing. They aren't wide enough. You're better off buying black velcro from Home Depot that's a wider width and using that but even that doesn't work for long.
