I ordered this pump to be able to drain most of the vat in my resin 3D printer. I made a mistake though and ordered a type A thinking I could use my own 3mmx5mm silicone hose in it since the type C version was capable of this. Sadly replacing the included 1mm hose (and you don't realize how small that it till you see a hose with 1mm opening) with the 3mm one just caused the pump to do nothing. This is because the motor is just not strong enough to push against all that friction. I replaced the original hose in the unit and tried again and it does work fine. In fact the pump actually moves much quicker than I thought it would. If I didn't think some debris might get clogged in the original hose I'd be tempted to try it for my purposes. Instead I'll see about printing a larger body to accommodate the larger hose and buying the type C pump. If I end up buying another I'm sure I'll be able to come up with a use for this one moving clean fluids like my isopropyl alcohol.All in all I like the motor and it seems like it moves at a pretty good clip and I could not find any faults with it. With that said I'll give it a good rating it deserves and give myself 3 stars on this one for not reading thoroughly.
