I found this through reviews, I wanted to change my desk setup to add a monitor and I found a cheaper option, I really like how neat my desk is now. And took them all off my desk, the plugs are sturdy and don't come loose, and I was impressed with its performance when playing games and watching videos. There are enough ports for peripherals. Can also charge cell phones and other devices. This adapter is powerful and has a low profile look. Well designed, well made, sturdy feel, great look, great hub. If you have a problem, contact the seller and they will fix it! Excellent customer service and all issues were resolved. I am very happy with my purchase. And it was easy to operate. If anyone I know needs a recommendation for one, I will definitely send them a link to this one.

I bought this product for two main reasons. Firstly, it allows me to connect three monitors, which is great for multitasking. Secondly, it comes with a powerful 140W adapter that directly powers my laptop, eliminating the need for extra cables. The case is made of sturdy metal, giving it a solid and durable feel. Setting it up is straightforward, and it works seamlessly with both my Mac and Windows devices. With 3x HDMI and 2x DP ports, it supports 4k@60Hz under DP 1.4, except for the third monitor which offers 4k@30Hz under DP 1.2. However, this is sufficient for my regular work. The 140W adapter is a game-changer as it not only powers my laptop but also keeps my desk clutter-free and convenient for travel. Additionally, it features USB A 3.2, USB C, Ethernet, and a Card Reader, just like most dockstations available in the market. Overall, I'm really satisfied with this product.

I've been using the Minisopuru Upgrade DisplayLink Docking Station for less than a week, and overall, I'm quite impressed with its performance.First off, let's talk about the positives. This docking station has made my setup so much more streamlined and efficient. With plenty of ports for all my peripherals, including USB devices, external monitors, and Ethernet connection, it's become the central hub of my workspace. One of the standout features of this docking station is its compatibility with multiple monitors. I was initially concerned about potential lag or connectivity issues, but I'm happy to report that my monitors are running smoothly without any noticeable lag or delay. This has significantly improved my productivity, especially when multitasking across different applications. However, there is one minor drawback that I need to address - the docking station tends to get quite hot after prolonged use. While it hasn't caused any performance issues so far, it's something to be mindful of, especially if you have sensitive equipment nearby. Despite this, I haven't experienced any overheating or shutdowns, so it seems to be a manageable issue. In terms of design and build quality, the docking station feels sturdy and well-made. The compact size is also a plus, as it doesn't take up too much space on my desk.Overall, I'm satisfied with the Minisopuru Upgrade DisplayLink Docking Station. It's a reliable solution for expanding your connectivity options and enhancing your productivity. Just be aware of the heat issue and take appropriate precautions to ensure proper ventilation.Pros:Expands connectivity options with multiple portsSmooth performance with multiple monitorsSturdy build qualityCompact sizeCons:Tends to get hot after prolonged useOverall: Despite the minor heat issue, the Minisopuru Upgrade DisplayLink Docking Station delivers on its promise of enhanced connectivity and productivity. If you're in need of a versatile docking solution for your workspace, this is definitely worth considering.

I loved the fact you could customize the spread of the sand falling. It was a great gift. The color was even better in person. It is perfect for a second of relaxation at your desk. It was surprisingly bigger that expected.

This docking station has been a great addition to my workspace. I was initially drawn to its sleek design and color, which perfectly complements my MacBook Pro. The build quality feels solid and durable. What I love:* Versatile Connectivity: The abundance of ports has been a game-changer, allowing me to connect all my peripherals without any hassle.* Powerful Charging: The 140W power adapter is a lifesaver. It keeps my laptop charged while powering all my connected devices.* Efficient Cooling: I haven't experienced any overheating issues, thanks to the effective heat sink design.* Cross-Platform Compatibility: It works seamlessly with both my Mac and Windows PC, which is a huge plus for me.Things I like to see improved:* SD Card Speed: While the SD card slot is convenient, it could be faster.* Port Placement: Most of the ports are located at the front, which can lead to a bit of cable clutter on my desk. It would be great if some of the less frequently used ports were moved to the back.Overall: Despite the minor suggestions mentioned above, I'm very happy with this docking station. It's a reliable and powerful solution that has significantly improved my workflow. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a versatile and efficient docking station.

So a friend of mine had one of these and I absolutely fell in love with it. I have a hard time letting my mind drift to sleep some nights and I love watching the sand fall and create Lil mountain shapes, it's very relaxing and helps me shut my mind down and not run amuck. I recommend this to anyone for themselves or as a gift. It's a great piece in my apartment and bedside!

The minisopuru MD6950D is a fantastic solution for my work-from-home dock. My work laptop is a Windows machine, but I prefer Mac’s for personal use. I’m a data scientist and do a lot of heavy-duty computing. My work machine is very capable or can use a VM if I need something more. Since I have all that capability for work, the MacBook Airs are perfect for my personal use. When I bought my first one, I thought I would regret it and want a MacBook Pro. But now I’m on my third one and never looked back. They are very light-weight and never have an issue with great battery life. The biggest complaint I have is for some inexplicable reason, they don’t drive dual monitors natively. Hello Apple, what the heck, any $300 windows machine will do this. The issue I have is work provides a very capable dock but connected to the Mac, I only get one of my monitors. Actually, I get all of them, but they all display the same thing, not very helpful. It’s hard to complain to work about it because standard clients are Windows machines and it’s great except my personal laptop doesn’t get multiple monitors. This is where the MD6950D is a great answer. There’s one wire from the dock to the laptop and all I have to do is move that wire from my work machine to my MacAir and bingo, the whole set-up works perfectly. I have connections for multiple monitors, keyboard, mouse, video cam, speaker phone. It’s so easy to change from one machine to the other and my desktop stays very clean because I’m not shuffling connections. The performance of the MD6950D is great too. I’ve learned the hard way there are things you discover after buying and installing a dock. One issue is the dock might not charge the laptop and the MD6950D does this well with fast charging on the Mac and the ThinkPad. Another issue is laggy performance of the mouse. This was so bad on my Lenovo dock that I had to move my mouse receiver to a direct connection on the ThinkPad. This is completely unnecessary with the MD6950D, and the mouse connects through the dock with perfect performance. The MD6950D is perfectly silent which is important to me because I do a lot of video conference calls. It also stays pretty cool, and I hate a hot office. It also has a generous number of connections, I have an unused USB-C, how often does that happen? So, my old port replicator stays in my computer bag, so much less desk clutter to put up with.Would I change anything about the MD6950D? There’s nothing about it I really don’t like. I use a vertical laptop stand that has support for 2 devices and the laptop(s) go in one side and the MD6950D in the other. With that setup, it’s convenient for me if all the connectors were on one side which would be facing toward the back of my desk. The MD6950D divides the connectors between two sides which means I have wires running to the front and back. Is that a big deal? Not really, and it is convenient to have 1-2 connectors in the front for things like USB sticks. Anyway, that’s my preference which is related to my set-up and yours might be completely different. I might move the MD6950D to a cage under the desk and this would be a super-clean setup.I’ve also found that minisopuru is very responsive to questions. All in all, the MD6950D is fantastic and I highly recommend it. Buy it, you will not regret it!
