Mino ware fabricado en Japón
Acerca de Mino ware (Mino yaki)
En el siglo VII d.C., la vajilla Mino nació en la región de Mino ubicada en el centro de Japón. Tiene más de 1300 años de historia.
A medida que la cultura de la ceremonia del té se hizo popular en la era Azuchi-Momoyama, la vajilla Mino se estaba volviendo popular y amada por los meister y las aristocracias.
La figura y el color de la vajilla Mino han sido sofisticados a medida que pasa el tiempo. Kizeto de amarillo y ocre, Oribe de esmalte verde profundo, Shino de esmalte blanco y rosa, y Setoguro de negro puro tienen una gran reputación entre los amantes de la cerámica no solo en Japón sino también en todo el mundo.
Actualmente, más del 50% de la cerámica en Japón se produce en esta región. Es una de las regiones y cultura más importantes que los japoneses tenemos que preservar.

The mugs is a dead ringer for the picture and is the perfect mug to hand size ratio. Only problem i can see someone having with it is that the mug seems to be textured. Like a glazed pumice stone? By no means does it take away from the mug it just might not be everyones cup of tea.
