Very good quality and does exactly what I need. I like the aluminum parts. The plastic parts are decent and should last a lifetime if you don't over-tighten.

I got this for my wife to mount her iphone 14 pro to her ski pole. She uses a strap available here on Amazon as a backup to attach her iphone to her wrist in case the phone comes loose from the holder, but so far, after several runs on the slopes, the holder has held up and allowed her to get her photo-sport urges satisfied. This is way less cumbersome than the selfie stick she was using to make videos while skiing -- which always scared the heck out of me when I see her doing that.The product itself seems very sturdy -- all-metal construction, good tolerances, no jagged edges to cut or scratch skin or expensive iphone -- never mind what happens if the videographer takes a stumble with the whole contraption while filming, but hey, I'm just trying to lower risk since I can't talk my wife out of NOT trying to use her iphone to make videos while skiing at 40 miles per hour...

I needed a phone holder but didn’t want one with a suction cup those kept wearing out during the summer. These one I got holds on strong, easy to install. It grips the phone well it isn’t going nowhere. My only dislike is that it doesn’t have a push release button.

This item actually does what the description says it does. I'm on an excavator all day and this hold my phone securely in place and it doesn't fall out. For the price.. works great. My only regret is they don't make one to secure a phone to a thicker pipe on the clamp side... but this works great!
