There's a YouTube video that walks through the install step by step in detail since the directions included in the kit are in Japanese. Flyin' Miata also has install instructions in English on their webpage. Also recommend removing and cleaning the blower motor on the bottom if you're doing this install for the first time; there's bound to be debris and leaves that fall down into the fan cage from the OEM 'grate' filter. Overall, a very well put together kit and a worth while mod for the ND Miata!

This requires a lot of disassembly but the parts come off easily. The only trouble I had was with the electrical connectors because it's not obvious how to take them off. You need to use a long pair of pliers or a connector-puller to squeeze the plastic tab down while you pull the connector out otherwise you will damage it. After installing there is no reduction in airflow and it works great. There is a papery new-filter smell to it.

I bought a 2016 ND1 that never had the filter changed and it was disgusting. Now it's clean and I can feel more airflow through the ducts. Install is very easy, 2/10 in terms of difficulty which the most difficult part is removing trim.

Install is definitely a bit more involved than others I've done but nothing tooajor of you're comfortable removing trim. Overall great so far, haven't noticed any loss of power and good to know when I'm driving with the top up I'm getting clean air.
