For reference: i am 5'11", 200 lbs, and normally fit 36" waist and medium t-shirts. I ordered the "Large" size, it fits well (see pics).i like these shorts. The material feels nice, they dont restrict my movement, and i think they look really good. I like the drawstring waist band because it eliminates the need for a belt. my only complaint is that the back pockets arent as deep as most of my other pants, so my cell phone sticks out by about an inch.

My son usually likes really long baggy cargo shorts, but it's hot this summer so I thought a cooler, shorter, less thick pair might be nice. Got a size larger than he would normally take so they were not too tight. He loves the pockets, the drawstring and that they are a little stretchy.

They look nice, its quality fabric. They fit well. They're comfortable. The price is great. They come sooooo close to being an easy 5 stars with a glowing review.There's just one issue - and its big. The rear pocket is not deep enough to securely hold my wallet. The wallet fits in there. But it has been my experience that my wallet must be below the seam with the doubled up fabric (the top 3/16") at the top of the pocket. With my wallet below that, the little lip from the doubled fabric keeps my wallet from working its way out of the pocket. Think of that lip as a little barb that keeps the wallet from sliding up.With my wallet all the way into the pocket, the top of the wallet hits the middle of that seem. It is only a matter of time before my wallet slides out. So they're fine for wearing around the house, where I can find my wallet if necessary. But wearing these in public means its only a matter of time before my wallet is gone for good. No pair of shorts are worth that.An extra 1/4" of pocket depth would probably be enough. An extra 1/2" of pocket depth and these could be my favorit shorts (that means: I'd order several).Hopefully they'll tweak the design, because this is so close to great it hurts a little.

Saw these and ordered for my hubby. They arrived in ziplock type bag. These shorts are medium thickness; feel sturdy and are stitched alright; the wide waist is elastic all the way around above and below a draw string cord in the middle for customized fit. There are two front pockets and two rear pockets. The fabric is cotton (97%) and spandex (3%). A little stiff at first but softened a little after machine laundering in cool water. States to hang dry but I dried on low to maybe shrink a little...some wrinkles because it's cotton.I decided to size up one size because of the measurements stated on the chart, but probably could have went with his normal size; therefore, they have room to spare. Also, not a fan of the two decorative sewn on patches front and back...but that's just me.These are good breathable cotton casual shorts.

I was advised to order a "4X" but I knew that wasn't right so I ordered a "5X" according to the "size chart", and it was "STILL TOO SMALL"!!
