My son was really excited when he got this watergun set. The plus is that it holds a decent amount of water in the pouch. The set itself is pretty small - nobody is going to mistake you having an actual chain gun as this thing doesn't measure more than 1 foot long. I'm glad the mechanism is an in-and-out pumping style to spray water from the cannon. If it were some sort of trigger press mechanism, it wouldn't probably work as well. Overall, it is a fun toy for the yard, but I'm going to guess that this toy will not last a long time. The plastic backpack is made out of a thin plastic, so a few drops (especially on gravel or the hot concrete) will probably rip a hole in this eventually. The pump inside the cannon will probably die after repeated uses, or the tube will get a kink or a tear and it will mean garbage time for this set. For what you pay for it, this will have your kids having fun for a little while, but don't put it on the same level as the expensive nerf squirt guns.

This holds a pretty decent amount of water. It’s fully functional and the kids love it. They have fun for hours.

Year-round fun. It's easy to fill the included bag with water and put it all together. It charges quickly and holds the battery, depending on your fun level, and the spray is powerful.

If you know the product “dip stick” these work like that, in a way. No functional trigger, just slide the whole barrel to push water out. The units are very small themselves, my 7 year old nephew was too big for the back straps to fit. The water guns are barely bigger than a size 11 shoe. I had hoped these would be big impressive units. They do shoot a good distance, and the kids did enjoy them. I’m just not a huge fan.
