I used this to make small concrete globes for my garden. Coated the inside of the mold with kitchen spray oil and there was no problem releasing the concrete from the mold. However, it is not easy to get the globe out of the mold without cutting the mold, but I've now done it twice so don't give up (to be fair, if the hole was any bigger, the globe would be less perfect. I think it may be easier if you fold the excess mold over itself as you try to pull it over the fat part of the globe. Another tip--if you fill the mold all the way to the top of the lip, you end up with a slight (1/4"?) pedestal at the bottom of the globe. If you don't want that, just fill the mold to the bottom of the "spout" on the mold.

When placing flowers in them etc, you can’t see how to place them. Nature of the beast as silicon is opaque. You have the think upside down. This leads to bubbles as well. I have multiple layered pours and deep pour. Take steps against bubbles. Roll the mold as you pour. Deep pour look best over all.My issue is trying to get them out once done. Loosen the mold with popsicle sticks. Then run the mold under hot water, put hand soap in side as best you can and take it to your bed or couch. One person pulls the sides down by rolling it the other person helps and they apply pressure on the molds bottom and pops it out on the bed. We ruined one popping it out over my shop floor.

I have used the smaller of the two spheres 5 times now in just a couple of days and it has remained undamaged except for one small kink in the silicone (from when I turned it fully inside out). I am working with a softer material than resin so I don't think I've had to stretch it during demolding as much as other people, but it is holding up so far. I am happy with the purchase. When I demold I work slowly, apply even pressure around, and adjust my grip if I see any portion of the mold looking too stretched out. It's like a 98% perfect sphere, with slight flattenings by the support legs. It works for my needs. If you are careful when demolding you should be happy with this product.
