Comparing with everything on market, this is one of the best devices. Shows important and accurate information. It does not display SoH, but the ones available in market shows inaccurate results.Most importantly, it shows the readings based off your battery type.

I installed this in my 2019 Kia Niro EV and it has been in my Kia EV6 for about 2.5 years. It has been through 3 Québec winters and works perfectly. I thought it was a bit expensive when I bought it, but the Bluetooth connection is strong, the app works very well, and it is still alive after all this time. If I could give it 6 stars I would. Pleasantly surprised at how good it has been.

Great simple product. It also shows history once you know how to use the app. It shows volts only though and not amps.

The one unit I purchased actually works pretty well. I did modify the leads so that it plugs directly into my battery tender lead by adding an industry standard mating plug which the manufacturer should consider. If you are monitoring battery level, there should be a quick way to plug in a charger, after all, that’s why you add a battery monitor in the first place. Makes it very convenient. Since this was for an an older MX5 where the battery is over the engine I was able to extend the provided (short) leads to be able to mount the unit on the fender well with Velcro away from heat and vibration. This should extend the life of the unit for sure. Bluetooth Range is about 10 - 12ft with the hood down which for me is adequate. It’s awesome being able to check battery level remotely with no effort on a car that is rarely used. As others have already commented, the app needs to report voltage and not percent, and the alerts also. Also the percent indicator is partially obscured in the app on the S9 plus. Percent is meaningless so I would get rid of it completely. Give me volts. Longevity of the unit is unknown at this time but its a great idea but the app needs tweaking just a little. Simple design improvements would make this a must have that I will consider buying for the rest of my cars (may do this anyway if life of the device is acceptable).

I've installed 2 of these in vehicles I own for the purposes of monitoring a parasitic loss and battery charging behavior. Both are accurate to ~2% when compared to a Fluke DMM. Good enough for reliable performance. Both are surviving the rigors of daily driving. They are easy to install in a convention battery-in-the-front layout. My BMW has the battery mounted in the trunk, with charging/jumping points under the hood. Installing it under he hood took a little creativity, but not a big deal. Attaching it to the actual battery would have been a pain, given BMW's installation. I'm an engineer, so data monitoring capability like this is very useful to me. It's only as good as the person reviewing the data and making decisions from it. By itself, it's won't do anything. Not for everyone, very useful to those who understand the expected electrical behavior of a vehicle.
