Rellene las bases con arena de gato asi como recomeniendan varios usarios. Para mi era muy importante unas bases firmes que no se tambaleen facilmente ya que tengo niños en la casa. Estas estan perfectas. De por si es maciso hecho de puro metal. Y rellenado es todavia mas.

Estás bases son las que buscas, hierro, nada de MDF o materiales así, el tema acustico puede ser resuelto fácilmente con arena de gato y quedan mucho más rígidas y estables, en este caso, para las ls50 de kef quedan perfectas, a las bases les puse unas bolitas de blutack para asegurarlas y quedó muy bien, firme y sin hacer contacto con la base, sobre su estabilidad, los spikes son ajustables para nivelarlas a tu piso, el problema es que solo viene con los spikes, debemos suponer que sin los spikes es para usar en piso duro?Lo resolví comprando los estabilizadores de los spikes y pegándole unos discos de felpa, estoy más que contento con el resultado, las 4 estrellas es porque para quienes tenemos piso duro, es necesario este aditamento.

bonito diseño, una vez armado es muy solido y estable, la base quedó apenitas a las bocinas….….

These are fantastic stands, especially for the price. They are simple, heavy and sturdy, and - importantly - the columns can be filled with sand or steel shot. Inside the bottom of the columns, where the screw threads are for mounting on the base, there are some gaps between the welds. Easily sealed with hot glue or some other sealant you have on hand, if you want to be sure sand is contained perfectly. Hot glue worked for me.My speakers are quite heavy and these stands are incredibly sturdy, even before adding 8 kg sand per stand.The top plate does not have a pre-drilled hole through which to secure the speaker. Not everyone needs it, but I do like to tap a small screw into the speaker base just to prevent accidental tipping. The steel plate I solid but could be drilled easily (cobalt bit worked well).I am very happy with these stands.

I was wary of buying these speaker stands because the price was so cheap. However, I took the chance after reading a review on an audiophile website in which the reviewer used these stands with a $4,500 active speaker stereo system. I'm glad I did.My first priority was to get stands that were heavy and could be filled with shot or gravel to dampen out any vibrations that could affect the sound quality of my stereo system. The Monolith stands definitely checked that box.My second priority was that the stands be reasonably attractive (or at least not unattractive). It was difficult to determine this just from the photos on the website so I was pleasantly surprised when I assembled these and placed my KEF LS-50 speakers on them. Wow! The combination looked great! These stands have a non-nonsense, industrial appearance, which I like. They consist of four vertical square posts which does not convey the overly massive, brutish appearance that some single or double post stands do.My last priority was fit and finish. While these stands do not have precise quality that one would typically get from $500 German or Italian products, the mating surfaces were good enough to not show gaps. Also, the black matte finish was free of any unsightly irregularities. Maybe I was just lucky. Nonetheless, I am a happy camper! And I am not an easy person to satisfy.If you don't feel the need to splurge on a set of designer-style stands costing $500 (or more), these stands are a good alternative. They provide good support for speakers without interfering with the sound quality, look good and are very affordable. I highly recommend them.(Note the seller, Monoprice, offers other stands which do not appear to be as sturdy or as esthetically attractive as the Monoliths, so buyer beware).

Product is exactly as described. Was delivered quickly and putting it together was a breeze. Would definitely get these again, but they're built to last so I guess I won't have to.

Soportes bien robustos, buena terminación, las columnas cuadradas son huecas y pueden rellenarse con arena para mayor estabilidad. Compre los de 28”. Para unas bocinas como las KEF Q350 creo que seria mejor visualmente las de 24” (es lo que recomienda el fabricante). La ventaja de las de 28”, en mi opinión, es que ponen el drive de agudos a la altura de los oídos.

Me gustaron por el precio. Tengo unas edifier r2000db con medidas 174 x 289 x 252 mm, y quedan muy bien. Es la misma medida del soporte.

A little difficult to assemble in terms of aligning parts if done by yourself, get a helper and very easy to put together. Not the most elegant stand, but very much worth the money, and they look great. Extremely sturdy by themselves, but I filled each pole with sand about half way, I have larger bookshelf speakers and wanted the sturdiness over carpet with the spikes. Result is the most sturdy and bottom heavy stand I have ever had. I used about 10 - 12 pounds of sand per stand, bought 3 stands, 2 x 32” and 1 x 28”... and a 60 lb bad of sand at hardware store for $4.00. The spikes are long, all threads were good, a couple a little finicky but all parts fit well. For the picky consumer, the square poles aren’t quite all perfectly square, you can’t tell unless you built it or inspect extremely close. Also, could be that I put them together with no help. Again, great buy for the money, I have spent $100’s more on stands that aren’t as sturdy, I’m very happy with my purchase thus far. If you are into a clean black finish, these are perfect. The finish on all parts was perfect as well, no nicks or scratches. Finish seams like a powder coating , feels very durable.
