I recently updated the HDMI cable for my Master bedroom TV. I decided to buy the Monoprice 8K HDMI cable for its good reputation and its even better price. I can say that I see a very nice improvement in the colors and resolution that I see on the TV (a mid-priced QLED TV) now. The cable is a little on the thick side but that did not impair my putting it "through" the wall from a closet to the other side (it was not fished along inside the wall). I strongly recommend the Monoprice brand of 8K HDMI cables. If you have long cable runs of more that 15-20 feet I would recommend using an active fiberoptic HDMI cable. You won't be disappointed.

I couldnt say for certain if this is AS good as official cables valued at 3-4 times the price (crazy), but there are many reviews that have tested with screenshots of results which is what i based my purchase on.So far i havent noticed anything wrong and everything seems good for my Xbox X which is spitting out 4k, dolby atmos and my preffered DTS-X as well as HDR10+ through to my connected 4k/8k amplifier and then to my TV.I also stream 4k UHD with dolby atmos with no issues and all my colours are as punchy as they seemingly should be.Fantastic.

Using an RTX 3080 GPU and a LG CX television I am able to successfully get a 4k, 120hz, 10-bit, RGB (4:4:4), HDR picture, which is a 40Gbps signal. Gsync also working.I am using the 8 foot model, I heard for passive cables you can't go much longer than this for HDMI 2.1 which is probably why Monoprice maxes out at 8 feet for their passive HDMI 2.1 cables.I expect this will work fine with a Series X HDMI 2.1 as well, but it should come with a 6ft cable in the box so you may not need this for that.
