This, plus padded potty training underwear, are the 2 must haves for potty training. We had been having accidents at night so I had to buy additional mattress protectors and change sheets every single time. Of course, by the time I did this, he was fully awake. I came across these shorts/pants and was skeptical because how can a cotton absorb, retain and not leak all at the same time? Well they do!!! The few accidents we've had, are 100% contained by the padded undies and these shorts. The outside of the shorts was completely dry!!! Easy to change and put him back to bed immediately. These are game changers!!! I already bought 2 more because they have to be line dried. Oh and my toddler loves the feel of them and wears them all day! I'm also an autism mom and because of the feel of the shorts, I'm 100% sure my daughter would've worn these without issues when I potty trained her.

My 2 year old tends to soak through his diaper most nights. This means changing his sheets every day. These pants eliminate that need. The main pant portion is very absorbent and they have not leaked through. The upper elastic part, however, he has soaked a few times. The elastic did absorb some, just not as much as the lower leg portion. This is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

These work well. My one issue is that the top strap is made of cloth with no protection from iron and that’s where my son wets the most. The pee comes out over the top and usually these are soaked around the waste band. I’m gonna have to modify it to stay dry at the top.

I was super skeptical after seeing these recommended in a FB group. I bought these and the normal waist thinking my son would protest the thick elastic. I returned those without using as soon as he tried these on.The waistband is a Jersey knit fabric with elastic threads and isn’t aggressive or tight. The extra fabric at the waist catches any overflow. Fit is like 80’s stovepipe jeans without a front and back. I decided to call them ninja shorts and they are a win.I was using a mattress pad and an chux-style pad to only have to wash the sheet and the chux but my son moved a lot. So much laundry is saved with these things.Wash inside out to get a good clean, with a pre wash or extra rinse for a front loader. They got stink faster than cloth diapers, and I think it was the shape keeping them from getting washed well. Sunning did the trick. The only improvement would be a light terry liner vs cotton for a little more absorption.

Love these! I bought them when my toddler was potty training because I dreaded all the laundry due to night time accidents that may potentially be in my future. As soon as we started potty training, my son wore these to bed every night. He has only had a few accidents at night since starting his potty training 4 months ago, but I have been so grateful he was wearing these! Rather than having to strip the sheets off the bed in the middle of the night, I just have to change him. They are soft, super absorbent, and good quality. The first night he more than a poke in a few minutes to get used to them because they’re sitting around the legs. But very quickly he became comfortable in them and now he absolutely loves them. I have told my friends about them, since they have made life so much easier since potty training. The waist band does stretch, so if you’re in doubt as to size, get the smaller pair. My 3 year old wears the smaller ones and they fit perfectly.
