I'd been using a Dunlop 535Q Crybaby for nearly 20 years when I ordered this. I'd been intrigued by switchless wahs ever since I saw one in Musician's Friend sometime in the mid-'00s, and when I needed to build a second pedalboard, I thought I'd give this one a try. Now I never want to go back! It's so convenient to just step on your wah and it immediately engage, as opposed to having to step down hard on the toe and then rock it all the way back. Plus, the tone is a little smoother, as Crybaby wahs can tend to be a tad harsh (which may or may not be the desired tone). The only complaint I could ever see anyone having about this pedal is not being able to engage it and then leave it in one position for that "cocked wah" tone. Granted, I have never needed that, so this isn't a problem for me. The only other thing I would mention to anyone looking to buy this: By default, the effect stays on for about half a second or so after stepping off of it, but this can be adjusted by taking off the bottom plate and turning a small potentiometer inside it. After I did that, this became the absolute perfect wah for me, and I highly recommend it.

I bought this wah wah to replace my “Bad Horsey” that recently died. Rather than replace it with the same thing, I opted to buy the mini. Glad I did. It sounds and works just as the “Bad Horsey”, and also fits better on my pedal board. Also, it costs less.

Small size and no-switch on/off are VERY convenient. Much wider wah band and much better sounding than any other one i've heard. Small size makes it easy to use with other pedals on my G-Mega-Board pedal mount. Worth every penny and more.

I've had and used a couple other wah pedals before, but I couldn't stand them because they had the volume clicker too. I don't need or want volume; there's a knob on my guitar for that. This pedal is awesome, it's what I needed in my life. As advertised there is no loud "click" when you engage it, but in the manner of full disclosure there is a slight change in volume - which honestly is probably only noticeable to me because I'm looking for it.

Great little wah. Doesn’t crowd the board and delivers that signature sound. I didn’t score it perfect for two reasons.1. When unboxed it, two of the four casing screws were stripped.2. The tone shift is a little low. You barely have to rock the foot-rest. However, once you figure that out, it’s still a great sound.I wanted a Morley Steve Vai Bad Horsie II contour, but settled with this to be easier on my pocket. I’m satisfied.
