Hermoso producto, funcional porque se adhiere a la mesa de trabajo en la cocina; además, su moledor, también, genial porque no se resbala la mano al momento de triturar o moler; sin embargo, para mí no fue lo que necesito para moler semillas de linaza que son resbalosas por el aceite que contienen, quizá lo difícil para mí es la falta de imprimir mayor fuerza para lograr el objetivo. Recomendable altamente.

I chose the ceramic with unglazed grinding surfaces to effectively smash and mix things without trailing color or smell; this item did not disappoint.However, the features is this particular mortar and pestle of that sort really saved the day. I have always wanted one of these, but had never taken the plunge. This one caught my eye because it's weighted and non-slip, just seemed like a good idea. White making s chili paste with garlic cloves and various spices, my enthusiasm outpaced my skill with this new tool. Only the weighted button and the non-slip silicone footprint saved me from losing control if both pieces and their contents. I doubt I would have had both mortar and pestle survive the flying smash my inexperience would have created.The silicone assists with grip on both pieces, and the effectiveness for grinding and smashing and mixing ingredients is as expected for this type of tool. Also, the item is well constructed and blissfully easy to clean without any residual color or smell--it looks brand new after the first use.I feel like it's a good visit for the money given the overall design and function--especially if you're not familiar with using one of these.I'm someone who likes to get something completely clean so this fits the bill. I'm also not keen on seasoning a tool that's not exposed to heat so the unglazed ceramic properties are perfect for my needs.[That said, I still can't determine where it was made between the box, insert, and markings absent from the item.]

My husband always had an issue while using the pestle and mortar. The base of this set has an EZ-Grip base that keeps the pestle firmly planted on the counter.

Had for over a year now with no issues. They made the bottom of the bowl almost touch your counter to prevent the issues with older models cracking sometimes. Doesn't move around when you use it, has a nice fine gritty finish in the working parts. Works well for mwe.

. . . mortar and pestle is as described . . . the silicone grips are a real plus . . . convenient size . . . looks great in the kitchen . . . one of the nice things about porcelain is that it creates no "dust" when you use this item, as granite often does . . . a really useful unit in the kitchen at a very good price . . .

This little "add-on" is made in Taiwan. I was expecting it to be made either in Germany or the Czech Republic like the parent kit. I contacted Wera for an explanation and was informed that 98% of their products (approx. 3,000 items) are made either in Germany or the Czech Republic. It turns out the Zyklop socket heads are just about the only Wera item that is manufactured in Taiwan. They sent me a detailed product listing, that they use for customs and excise, to show this. Excellent customer service.
