I was looking for a backpack that I could use as a "personal item" on an airplane that would accommodate some camera gear as well as some personal items items. I have several camera backpacks that were too bulky or awkward to be stored under an airline seat. After the MOSISO backpack arrived, I determined that the MOSISO backpack wasn't sturdy enough for my heavy Nikon D850 and another lens or two. The dividers couldn't support the weight as-is. After trying several configurations, doubling up some dividers, and adding some additional foam to support the weight, I found the perfect solution (see photo). The camera is also accessible from the side zippered cover. It's a tight fit but that's not a bad thing. As you can see from the second photo, there is plenty of room for additional items (electronics, personal stuff, etc.). Buying this backpack for an upcoming trip to Alaska, I appreciate the fact that is is water repellant and comes with a rain cover. I haven't stored it under an airplane seat yet but the dimensions fit within the regulations for a personal item.Overall, this is a very versatile camera backpack and should accommodate smaller DSLRs and mirrorless DSLRs with no problem. The backpack also holds my travel tripod on the side and the laptop/tablet pocket is a bonus. Overall I was pleasantly surprised and would recommend this product.

I bought this specifically to use as a carry on sized travel backpack. Every other carry on backpack out there is extremely flimsy with little to no structure or thought out organization. This works perfectly to maximize the capacity you're allowed to bring on a plane (fits within the max allowed dimensions for most major airline carries) while also having well thought out compartments to easily separate clothing (bottom), toiletries/snacks/chargers/etc. (top) & easy access to things like passports/docs in the other smaller front zip compartments. Not to mention it's also really stylish and well made/sturdy.MOSISO, if you're reading this you should tweak this to be a carry on travel backpack and market it as such alongside the original. Swap the zipper pulls for plastic so they don't make as much noise, convert the lower portion's compartment to be a zipper on the back of the backpack, keep the same price point, and this will be the top seller for travel bags.

I bought this bag to use as a audio gear bag. The zippers zip smoothly and there are nice storage openings. The best thing is the bottom of the bag is flat and sits upright without tipping over. The inside has soft black fabric which looks great with the outside satin vinyl material. The shoulder straps are comfortable and wide enough so they don't dig into your shoulders.Overall it seems to be perfect for what I needed.

Yeah, this is a longer review, but a lot of thought goes into getting *your* perfect camera bag, so I want to cover all the points that makes or breaks this for me, in case that helps you decide if this is the bag you want or not. Bags are difficult.. because it's really a person-by-person situation as to whether or not it's a good bag, and that's hard to determine if you don't physically have the bag to try out. Thanks to Amazon's awesome return policy, I was able to try a few and I've gone ahead and picked this one.Let me preface by saying: this backpack wont replace your full loadout carrying system. For that, I will still carry both my laptop bag (which will contain more lighting equipment, audio equipment, and video equipment) and my large Lowepro camera bag.But for a run&gun or light-medium setup, this backpack is *perfect*, at least for my lifestyle and shooting style. I researched for weeks for the perfect backpack -- including those in the $250+ dollar range, but all those were too big. The kind of backpack I wanted was a small to medium size, that can fit two mirrorless compact cameras and a small selection of lenses, and my 15.6" laptop. The Nomadic, the BevisGear, the Tarion and larger Lowepro that can accommodate a laptop would have been way too much space for what I wanted to carry, causing a lot of empty space in the bag and risking equipment jostling around.Despite what the item description states, this bag stands at about 17.8", so a half-inch taller than the dimensions stated in the Amazon description. I was also trying to avoid looking like I was carrying a huge turtle shell of a backpack, and this bag fits great on me -- not too small like a Loungefly and not too big as to look like I'm going on a weeklong hike. It fits my setup perfectly: 15.6" in Lenovo Yoga laptop, laptop charger, Sony a6500 APSC mirrorless with 30mm attached, Sony A7C Compact Full Frame mirrorless with 35mm attached, my additional lenses including a 12mm, a 50mm and an 85mm, a compact flash/speedlight, a flash trigger, a mini LED light panel, two filters, extra body/lens caps, memory cards, two battery chargers, extra batteries, blow duster, camera strap, and an iOS SD Card reader. And that's if I'm really carrying a lot of my stuff, which probably won't normally be the case.**THE GOODThis backpack is very solidly built. The materials feel nice and rigid, and only time will tell if it will start to loosen or loose its rigidity with heavy use, but as of right now, it definitely feels very structured. The zippers all open and close easily for me (though I've seen another review state that some of them have given him a little trouble). Also, the side-access zippers and main camera storage compartment zippers can all be situated very close together, so I was able to use a TSA luggage lock to fasten them all together for extra security if I'm just walking around. There is a multitude of peripheral pockets and storage areas. The security pocket on the back, hidden within the luggage passthrough, is great! I will definitely see myself using that when traveling or out and about. Within the side-access entry flap, there are two Velcro pockets, seems like a good fit more extra memory cards or batteries. But those pockets are on the flimsier side. The top storage area is much larger than it seems and fits a good amount. Within that is a mesh pocket on the actual flap itself, and within the storage area are two more elastic mesh pockets for smaller items. Everything I'd want to carry on a casual shoot already fit, so currently, the smallest front pocket (just above the logo), is still empty. I'll probably end up using that for super quick access to batteries while on set or something. On the opposite side of the quick-access entry, is a side pocket, which seems great for a laptop charger or battery charger. I've seen people in YouTube reviews use this pocket as the tripod pocket, but that's not actually what it was meant for. There is a secret tripod pouch that pops out from under the side storage pocket. It is so well-hidden that many probably don't even realize it exists. You can see it in the second Amazon picture. As I mentioned above, this bag does have a luggage passthrough - which was among my list of things my next bag needed. And I like how it isn't just a single strap or elastic band to hold it on your luggage handle. It's a very significant passthrough that gives me peace of mind that it will be supported when rushing around with a suitcase. The main camera storage is also very well made, but it also contains one of this bag's flaws (you can read up on that in "THE BAD" section of this review). The orange separators are actually very sturdy and rigid, unlike ones I've used in the past which feel like little pillows. I think I prefer these harder, rubberized foam, separators. I also like that these are a bright orange color as it makes it easier to see/find things in the compartment, especially since most of my camera equipment is black. Looking for that misplaced lens cap in a dimly lit area in a black bag makes for some frustrating times! If you want to use this as a regular backpack, the camera storage inserts are easily removed.. BUT you can also remove the separator between the top-loading storage area and the camera storage area and take full advantage of the backpack's height! Nothing in the provided Amazon images or description mention this - so it was a really nice surprise! I would have included a picture of it, but I already set my separators up exactly the way I wanted to.. so.. sorry! This also comes with a rainfly, which they've just randomly thrown into the main storage area. It doesn't necessarily have a 'home' in the backpack, so I've stashed it in the security pocket in the back.As far as comfort goes, I'd say this is a fairly comfortable backpack. Of course a lot of it depends on how much gear you're carrying and how heavy you make the backpack, but fully loaded, it was pretty comfortable. The straps are very lightweight, but they still feel supportive and are well-padded with a breathable mesh padding. Each strap also has a loop to fasten peripherals or accessories via carabiner or something similar. The back of the backpack is also a pillow of more of that breathable padding. Because this is a smaller backpack, this does not have a waist strap, in case that is important to you. I've found that the sternum/chest strap did a find job of distributing weight on this smaller bag, so I don't think it really needs one.**THE BADAs other reviews have stated, the velcro separators only stick to two velcro strips on the inside of the bag -- the interior of the bag is not "floor-to-ceiling" velcro. While I haven't had too many issues with it because my equipment all fits perfectly and supports itself, I can see how this can cause a problem if there isn't much equipment in there and something heavy could loosen some of the velcro separators. Again, your mileage may vary, but for me, it still works out great because of how I pack the compartment. There is a YouTube "hack" out there that looks like a great idea, a user simply bought velcro (the soft side) fabric and used fabric adhesive to glue the soft-velcro all around the interior of his backpack, as well as the bottom, to create the "floor-to-ceiling" velcro walls. If I ever run into an issue with the two strips of velcro in this bag, that seems like a very simple and cheap hack. The laptop storage (at the bottom) doesn't have the best padding. If you literally throw/drop your laptop into the compartment, it might actually hit the ground/table. There is *SOME* padding, but it isn't very thick. I would probably throw in a little foam down there (that no one sees anyway), for peace of mind. Not horrible, but the top carrying handle is on the flimsy side. It doesn't feel like it'll break, but it isn't the most comfortable in your hand.**THINGS NOT GOOD OR BAD, BUT NOTEWORTHYThis is a medium-sized bag and not meant to carry a full loadout. This bag does not have a waist strap. I personally dont think it needs one, but depending on your setup, you might want to take note of that. You might not love the faux-leather/vinyl top pocket flap. I think it's fine.**ALL IN ALL, I really do enjoy this backpack. There are just a couple shortcomings which seem to be a very common thread in other reviews, but both can easily be remedied with some DIY action if I need to. I would recommend this bag for anyone who wants to carry a light load, but needs laptop storage, and using it for a casual shoot or for quick travel/trips.
