I like that it beats plastic thermostat housing assemblies getting hot and cold. You know plastic expands overtime.

The part is great, perfect match (aside from hose connections), and appears to be high quality. The work around I found was to get new 3/4 x 3/4 hoses from NAPA part #: 10063, 13049 (cut a bit shorter)...My 2008 Compass stock hoses were 3/4 on heater core side and 1 inch on thermostat housing...Hope this helps someone out.
