The switch was placed and the 2 door locks were placed in the car, but the one on the trunk does not fit at all, it is not the same lock, that is the only problem, the rest is very good....

The manufacturer claims these locks will work on a 2000 Corolla. No. Not on my CE. The AmazonConfirmedFit feature confirms they'll work on a 2000 Corolla. No. Not on my CE.I used the ignition cylinder and slid it into the existing cylinder bracket. That worked. Can't tell you if the bracket supplied with this kit would have worked, but judging from everything else, I doubt it. The two side door locks do not match the original equipment, but can be installed to work. The trunk lock absolutely does not fit a 2000 Corolla CE in any vague fashion. I'd have returned this kit, but my return period had expired, so I disassembled the locks and transferred enough wafers from old to new to make it functional. I'm a veteran locksmith, so I can get away with that. You can't. So don't. If you own a 2000 Corolla CE, do not buy this kit.
