Package arrived damage and the gasket was missing. The EGR valve itself looks to be good quality but the packaging it came in looked like it was used for a soccer ball..

Please do not scrimp on this important item. Slightly higher than non OEM aftermarket but well worth a few extra dollars. Installed in 2004 Ford Mustang base V6 3.9 liter. Run as silky smooth now. Made in Canada a nice bonus. Like to see that vs everything coming in from Asia. Prompt shipping and carefully packaged. Thank you Amazon and your supplier. P.S. if you can do it soak the incoming exhaust nut w penetrant a couple times a day for a few days. That and a little carefully applied heat and a large adjustable wrench make removing the old one so much easier.

I found spots of rust inside the part - on the threads and inner surface. I used a compressor to blow some grit as well. I bought this as a backup since my car is getting elderly and haven't installed it yet.This part came with the gasket as pictured.If the car is throwing EGR codes, it may need a Exhaust Gas Recirculation Pressure Feedback Sensor (DPFE) and EGR Pressure Feedback Hose replacement instead.

This is an exact replacement EGR valve for my car, made by Motorcraft. I like the feature that Amazon has to assure that you are getting the correct parts. It has never failed me after dozens of purchases. It was an easy "do-it-yourself" replacement, and I know I saved hundreds of dollars compared to the repair shop cost. I have also found my car parts purchased from Amazon to be less expensive than the other online retailers, especially with the free shipping. This part works great, as they all have. Thanks.
