Unlike some electric blankets, this one is very soft and feels good to the touch. I purchased a king size and the blanket overhangs on each side of the bed and the bottom allowing enough extra material for any bed. The controls are easy to operate and the blanket heats nicely but not to the point of roasting.

It was great and warm at first. Within 2 weeks one side went out, it doesn't even preheat and you can turn it up to 20 and it feels like it's only on 5. Now the other side is going out. We just got it delivered Dec 27th, it's Jan 20th if that gives you a time frame idea. I'd love to return it for a replacement but it's not possible because Temps are in the single digits at my house and we need it to keep warm. Waste of money, don't even bother because Amazon can only do a return and no replacement because it's a "3rd party seller".

My husband has this one level 20 every night and still complains about it being not warm enough. I bought this in October and the right side has already given us a permanent error code. I flipped it upside down so he could use my side, but beyond the softness and its general low-function, I would not recommend.

This blanket moves in the night to my husband's side of the bed. We haven't solved it yet. I would not buy micro plush again. It heats well and the dual plugs are good for our older home.
