My 9 year old grandson absolutly loved the "mask" and all of the different expressions that he could choose from.

This mask came beautifully packaged, and was surprisingly sturdy. It charged quickly and was easy to operate, doing all of the things it was supposed to do, which was pretty cool. Where I found it failing was in the actual wear. The rubber piece that goes across the bridge of the nose is unforgivingly hard. So hard that my nephew wasn't able to wear it for more than a couple of minutes. When he told me what was wrong, I set it on my face, and immediately understood what he was talking about. That being said, all the coolness in the world really doesn't matter, if you can't wear the mask.

This mask arrives in a really nice quality box. Once you open it up, there is the mask and a USB charging cable. There is a protective film over the front of the mask, as it is a high gloss finish, which covers up the LEDs so you don't see them when wearing the mask, unlike a lot of other masks out there. This gives it a high quality feel to it.It does arrive with a charge, so you can check it out right away. Long press the button on top and it will power on and show you the charge level. You can cycle through the images and animations by pressing the button and working your way through them.Alternatively, there is a sensor at the top of the mask. Cover it for 2 seconds and 'OK' appears on the mask. You can then swipe your hand past the sensor and it will change what is on the mask. In my experience, there is a difference here between pressing the button to cycle through and swiping to cycle through. When pressing the button you go through them in order, when swiping, the order appears to be random. That is just my observation. There are 70 different images and animations that you can cycle through, not all 'Halloween' themed, there are some Christmas images on there, and also some bright animations for clubs etc. If you want to turn off the motion detection, you can cover the sensor for 2 seconds and a 'X' appears and the image remains static until you press the button again. To turn it off, press the button for over 2 seconds.This mask is designed for kids, and even at that, it is very small. And the other challenge with this mask is that you can physically see the eye holes in the animations, so you have these two dark areas in the animations on the masks. This somewhat takes away from the effect of the mask when using a full face image.Overall, this is a really nice quality mask with a rubber gasket to protect your eyes with a nice adjustable head strap. The finish of the mask is really nice and looks far superior to others on the market. It is however a very small mask, definitely suited to kids, and then there are the obvious eye holes that take away from the overall effect of the mask.
