Diseñado desde adentro hacia afuera, el 8.5 ofrece todo lo que siempre ha deseado en un cable; Resistencia increíblemente baja sin interferencias electrónicas. En una sola longitud de 12 pulgadas de cable de superconductor hay solo 40 a 50 ohmios de resistencia. Esa es la resistencia más baja de cualquier cable enrollado helicoidalmente. Para lograr esto, usamos un conductor de aleación de cobre debido a su gran capacidad de transporte de voltaje. La baja resistencia da como resultado una menor pérdida de energía de la chispa por lo que más llega a la bujía. El conductor se enrolla extremadamente apretado alrededor de un núcleo central especial. Tan apretado, que hay más de 40 pies de conductor envuelto en un solo pie de cable de conexión. Este procedimiento de bobinado, combinado con un núcleo central ferromagnético impregnado, produce un estrangulador de interferencia electromagnética (EMI) extremadamente efectivo.

Los cables son demasiado cortos , los compré para una silverado 2006 5.3 !Y son demasiado cortos, no quedan de ninguna manera !Tenía muchas espectativas sobre el producto ! Lo Cual me decepcione bastante !Una pulgada más largos que estuvieran y ajustarían Perfecto !Pero es preferible ahorrarse una pulgada de cable , que tener muchísimas más ventas

Wires are perfect lengths, went on well... I like the red and black, look nice, definitely plug right into the plug... Quality is good..

when i got these some of them weren't in spec . i checked the resistance on all of them and half of them were not in spec i return the product to amazon and they gladly shipped me another set who all of them were in the 40-50 ohms that msd calls for.i guess i had a bad batch?all in all ;very good shopping experience, it fits my 2014 6.2 ls3. very good. it fits also the ls1 too.

These wire are extremely high quality. When tested with an ohm meter prior to installation, they registered @28 ohms. The stock wires were Delco, and registered over @800 ohms. The Delco wires were 7 years old, and were causing our LS-2 equipped 2007 Corvette(15,450 miles) to misfire at idle, and also while cruising. This was to be expected with OEM wires. The MSD wires, right out of the box are too tight a fit. I called MSD customer support, and told them these wires needed to be about 1 inch longer. However, the tech told me the MSD wire spark plug boot was designed to be bent up to a 45 degree angle. I was amazed that this feature was built into the spark plug boot. I did what they instructed, and this wire set fit perfectly, and still checked out at @28 ohms. There were no printed instructions or directions on the box telling me of this ability to bend the plug boot for a perfect fit. The tech promised this would be corrected. The low resistance is created, because the OEM style carbon core is wrapped with copper wire. They claim @ 30 to 40 feet of copper wire per foot of ignition wire is would around the core. One would expect the copper wire to cause interference with the radio and electronics, but just the opposite is the case. This style of wire is also known as Magnetic Suppression Wire. There is a very small electro- magnetic field around these wires, and with the copper windings- very little resistance. The Corvette started immediately, the idle was smooth once again, and the acceleration was noticeably "crisp" and strong. These wires should last a lot longer than 7 years or 15,000 miles- truly a value for the money and they are American made!
