Not the original wrench but it does the job! The bottom line is loosening and tightening the lugs!

I bought this to tune my bongos. It doesn't fit. It's too large.

This wrench has a 1/2" end and a 9/16" end. The 1/2" end fits my bongos and congas, although it's a little tight on my djembe.The black stuff on the handle is not a cushioned rubber grip. It's hard plastic, like a sort of heat-shrink tubing. The wrench is usable, but if you want a soft cushioned handle, this wrench doesn't provide that.

I was in a concert band that used Latin Percussion brand bongos; this wrench worked with those. This may not be the same size used by other brands. LP says this works with all their congas, and some of their bongos and timbales.For other brands, this may not work at all. We Another band had a Toca bongo that needed at 13MM wrench. So check the size used by your instrument.Taking off a review point because the item description infer that this usually works.
