Does what I bought it for. The main reason I got it was to avoid a bunch of condensation since I like to add ice to my water. Keeps it colder for much longer. I’d say for about 3x as long with it on. The only thing that I don’t like is that when you unscrew the Nalgene lid, a nice addition would be a little strap or something to hold the plastic lid strap to the cover lid (right at the joint). This would help keep the lid from smacking you in the face as much and from putting strain on the hinge part.

This bottle sleeve did what it was intended to do. It insulted well. It kept my water from freezing during. 2-day hike in Yellowstone at 22 degrees F. However, aesthetically, I think it's severely flawed. The cute stitching design failed during our hike. It was not exposed to velcro at all, but being bounced around on a backpack snagged this bottle sleeve terribly. It looks like trash after 2 days' use. I probably would not recommend this design.

Keeps it cold when it’s warm outside and keeps it from freezing when it’s cold outside.
